| 6-year, LiSO2 replacement Lithium Battery Pack for Artex 406 MHZ ELT 1000. Battery pack for the Artex ELT 1000 consists of two “D” size Lithium Sulfur Dioxide cells.
The lithium battery packs used on the Artex ELT 1000 are certified under TSO C142a. The conditions and tests required for TSO approval of this battery are minimum performance standards. It is the responsibility of those desiring to install this battery in a specific type or class of aircraft to determine that the aircraft installation conditions are within the TSO standards. The battery may be installed only if the installation is approved by the FAA administrator. |
